Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Booking details: your name, e-mail address, mobile number, stay dates, number of adults, children's ages, and whether you are bringing a pet.
• Payment details: the payment reference, amount, method (for example UPI or card) and status. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us.
• Identity documents: we may ask to see ID at check-in, as required by law.
• Messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
• Basic technical data: like most websites, our server and hosting provider process your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. The site does not use advertising cookies.

2. Why we use it

To confirm and manage your booking, take payment and process refunds, send you booking confirmations and updates, answer your questions, keep records required by law, prevent fraud and misuse, and resolve disputes. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Messages we send you

After you book we send transactional messages about that booking (confirmation, payment, cancellation and refund). These are sent by e-mail and, if we have enabled them, by WhatsApp or SMS to the mobile number you gave. We do not send marketing messages without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

• Razorpay, our payment processor, to take payments and issue refunds (see Razorpay's own privacy policy).
• Our hosting and e-mail provider, to run the website and send e-mails, and any messaging provider we enable for WhatsApp or SMS.
• Google, if you use the embedded map or Google Fonts on this site (Google may receive your IP address when those load).
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The booking form stores a temporary reference in your browser (session storage) so a refreshed page does not create a second booking; it is cleared when you close the tab. We do not set advertising cookies.

If we switch on Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland will first see a consent banner and no analytics runs until they accept; elsewhere it runs unless you block it in your browser. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to manage your stay, handle any dispute, and meet accounting and legal requirements. After that we delete or anonymise them.

7. Security

The website uses HTTPS. Access to booking records is limited to the owner through a password-protected dashboard. No online system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop messages, by writing to info@saimitravilla.com. We will act on your request unless we must keep the information for legal or accounting reasons.
